Acclaimed soprano Becky Jane Taylor records 'Prayer' for EMI Classics

Elizabeth Henshaw has been working with producer Jon Cohen on her song 'Prayer' which has been selected as the first track on 'By Your Side' , the new album from Becky Jane Taylor, released September 26, 2005, by EMI Classics (UK).

Elizabeth described the recording session with an orchestra comprised of members of the London Symphony Orchestra and the Royal Philharmonic as '...exhilarating. The song is fairly unusual in that the time signature is 7/8 moving into 6/8 and back to 7/8, and members of the orchestra commented on how much they enjoyed recording it.'

17 year old Becky Jane Taylor has performed at major outdoor concerts this year, featuring as guest soprano at The Last Night of the Kenwood House Proms, and the Audley End last night spectacular.
